Solutions

Nine platforms, developed in house.

Each one is ours to change. They run on the same product stack, so you can start with a single substation and grow into a network wide control centre without replacing what you already have.

Family 01

Substations and control centres

Platform 01

@Station

Substation automation for control, protection and monitoring at both bay and station level. IEC 61850 station bus, interlocking, sequences and local HMI.

Where it is used

Transmission and distribution substations up to 500 kV, new build and retrofit.

Platform 02

@SCADA+

SCADA for monitoring and controlling power networks and generating plants. Real time data, alarms, historian and reporting in one configuration.

Where it is used

Network operators, generating plants and industrial sites with their own high voltage assets.

Operator at a control centre workstation

Platform 03

@OCC

Operation control centre software that lets one team run many substations remotely, with switching sequences, permissions and full event records.

Where it is used

Utilities consolidating attended substations into a single remote control centre.

Family 02

Renewables and distributed energy

Aerial view of the Loc Ninh solar plants

Platform 04

@DERM

Management of solar, wind and battery assets connected to the network. Setpoint dispatch, curtailment, forecasting inputs and connection point compliance.

Where it is used

Asset owners and aggregators running fleets of renewable and storage sites.

Platform 05

@MicroGrid

Control that balances generation, storage and load, grid connected or islanded, including transfer between the two without dropping critical load.

Where it is used

Remote communities, mine sites, campuses and industrial plants with onsite generation.

Wind turbines across farmland

Platform 06

@ReHybrid

Control for hybrid plants that combine renewables with storage or other generation, coordinating the units against one export limit.

Where it is used

Solar plus battery and wind plus battery plants sharing a single connection point.

Family 03

Smart grid applications

Protection relays inside an outdoor cabinet

Platform 07

SmartAFL

Automatic fault location on power lines. Fault records from both ends are used to place the fault to a span, so crews go straight to it.

Where it is used

Long transmission and sub transmission lines, especially in difficult terrain.

smartwams

Platform 08

SmartWAMS

Wide area monitoring using synchrophasor data. Angle, frequency and oscillation views across the network at sub second resolution.

Where it is used

Transmission operators tracking stability as inverter based generation grows.

Control cabinets installed in a switchyard

Platform 09

SmartDAS

Distribution automation for detecting, isolating and restoring feeder faults, coordinating reclosers, switches and sectionalisers automatically.

Where it is used

Distribution networks working to reduce outage minutes on rural and urban feeders.

Product stack

One stack sits behind all nine platforms.

Six layers, from the panels built in our Hanoi factory to the screen an operator looks at. Every platform is a different configuration of the same layers.

Layer 01

Hardware Products

RTUs, bay controllers, gateways, time sources and protection panels, assembled and tested in our own factory.

Layer 02

Data Acquisition

IEC 61850, DNP3, IEC 101/104, Modbus, inverter protocols, protocol conversion, and redundancy.

Layer 03

Data Management

Real time database, historian, alarm and event records, configuration management and access control.

Layer 04

Management and Control

Interlocking, switching sequences, setpoints, dispatch and export limits, with full command audit.

Layer 05

Smart Applications

Fault location, wide area monitoring, distribution automation and plant level optimisation running on the same data.

Layer 06

Interface

Operator HMI, control room video wall views, dashboards, reports and interfaces to market and enterprise systems.
